What’s Happening at the The Roadhouse Restaurant and Inn?

We are happy to announce that The Roadhouse Restaurant and Inn is under new ownership!

Rob & Wife Debbie Rosemont

Rob Rosemont is the proud new owner of one of the Snoqualmie Valley’s favorite establishments. Rob has big plans to update and upgrade the establishment with tasteful improvements while maintaining the overall feel and quality that this area has known for years. It will still be the place you love, just better!

As many people in this area know, the building where The Roadhouse is located, a familiar and historic landmark to locals for decades, dates back to 1916 and is in need of some cosmetic and technological updates. Some of these updates include a new website, a new logo, new signage, fresh paint (check out the red ceiling in the dining room!), cleaning carpet and tiles and upgrading to high speed Wifi for our customers to enjoy. Additional changes will be announced soon. It’s hard work, but it’s just the kind of challenge Rob has been looking for. After teaching History at Skyline High School for the past 15 years, he felt the time was right for a new professional challenge, and temporary insanity notwithstanding, he’s excited to see the transformation of the menu and facility into a new, updated, classic vision of the establishment. Although Rob’s background isn’t in the restaurant industry per se, he has owned a business before and is excited about the untapped potential of a great place that could be even greater.

In recent weeks, Rob has met with the chefs at The Roadhouse, and they have been evaluating the menu, which already offers delicious breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. They are committed to keeping what people love and making things better. One example of a quality change is in the new, fresher potatoes that the Roadhouse will be serving in some of the classic dishes on the menu. Another mouthwatering upgrade has been the Kobe beef used in the burger that gives delicious flavor to a classic favorite. All of our sauces, soups, chili, and dressings are house made for optimum flavor and freshness. In addition, we will be expanding the menu to include more variety for healthy options as well as increased offerings for kids. We want you to bring the whole family to dine with us! And the new items will be chosen carefully to fit the overall feel of the restaurant. It’s the menu you love, just better!

The improvements in the recent weeks haven’t been just cosmetic and culinary; we’ve also been working with the expert team at Fingerprint Marketing to incorporate our vision into a new logo, which will be visible in our new signage and website, so advertising and the presence in the community will have a fresh, updated feel.

We are eager to unveil all of the changes, so we will be holding a Grand Relaunch Celebration at The Roadhouse from September 22nd to 25th, so there’s not long to wait for the new vision to be unveiled!

We drive the way from Duvall to have breakfast at the Road House – at least once a month. Here’s why we make the drive instead of eating closer to home. We really enjoy the Bloody Marys (lots of beans). The Eggs Benedict is pretty tasty – I especially like the crispy muffins and the smoked ham. I agree the potatoes could be better (or simply hot).

We also often order the Corned Beef & Hash but it’s been really salty the last couple of times we ordered it.

Good luck! I’m sure we’ll still enjoy the changes you’re making. See you soon.
